Summary:

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support supervision through the preparation, monitoring, and updating of area schedules; and assisting site management to formulate action plans to correct scheduling problems
  • Draft and computerize schedule network diagrams, monitoring and eliminating potential problems

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years construction scheduling experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience as a Project Engineer is preferred
  • Must be proficient in P6
  • Construction operations experience strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles and practices
  • Proven ability, creativity, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems essential
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions
  • Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
