Pay Range: $46k-57k (Base + Commission)

Tues-Sat 9am-5:30pm

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

As the Window Treatment Designer I, you are responsible for assisting NFM customers in planning and designing window treatments. You will be the resource for product information, providing the highest level of service and follow up to close the sale. You play a critical role in helping customers create the home they love.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Play your Part: Advise clients on design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of color schemes and color coordination
  • Collaborate: Meet with client to determine preferences, purpose, functionality, budget, color, and other factors that will affect planning
  • Present: Put presentations together in the form of quotes, drawings, and product specifications to client for approval
  • Order: Measure in home, select and order window treatments for client
  • Follow-up: Reach out to the client to confirm satisfaction of all designer services
  • Support: Identify and resolve all post-order problems quickly and efficiently

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • Bachelor's Degree Interior Design, Architecture, Art degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of retail sales experience, window treatment preferred
  • Knowledge of Hunter Douglas window treatment products preferred
  • Basic computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
