Utilize Ameritas Change Management principles to help guide a critical actuarial modernization project towards successful implementation and acceptance.

Support the management of the actuarial modernization project. Partner with the project's change management strategic leader to develop and execute upon change management specific strategies and policies to meet specific business needs. Plan, administer, and review activities concerned with training and development, user acceptance, and employee relations.

Work within established Ameritas change management principles to design and develop plans supporting the development and implementation of proprietary actuarial systems as part of a modernization effort. Implement programs, communications, and learning materials that will support the business specific needs of the enterprise including change initiatives and results, continuous improvement, and ongoing change management programs. Continually identify, gather, and evaluate education materials for organizational change management. Position will utilize education, awareness, and insight to make strategic decisions regarding change management based on best practices.

This position is a hybrid role working partially in-office in Lincoln, Nebraska and partially from home.

This position will support the actuarial modernization project for the next two years. At that time, it is anticipated that this role will be able to transition to support other ongoing projects or other business lines.

What You Do

  • Collaborate and consult with business leaders to determine change management needs, make recommendations, develop activities & programs, and identify resources or tools to meet those needs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching for a variety of associate concerns surrounding change management and enrichment.
  • Manage internal communication plan and design for the actuarial modernization project to enhance the learning and development of employees.
  • Identify training needs, develop training plans and materials. Coach and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to enhance skills for successful delivery of change management programs.
  • Assist with the development and execution of change management strategies for specific programs.
  • Establish and communicate reporting metrics and project dashboards which provide quantifiable gauges regarding the delivery, effectiveness, alignment, and ROI of change management programs.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership and coordinate implementation for process improvement and project changes designed to make the company's change management programs meaningful and impactful.
  • Serve as primary contact for organizational change management for specific programs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in change management or a related field required.
