Our dynamic and successful Urban Mobility and Infrastructure Group is seeking an Urban Mobility and Transit Design Engineer to join our team of professionals, focusing on transportation design in urban markets. Location options for this opportunity include Chicago, IL, Omaha, NE, and Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN. As an Urban Mobility and Transit Design Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of innovative and diverse projects, including the civil design of reconstruction projects balancing pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle priorities; civil improvements for light rail transit (LRT), highway and arterial Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects; and pedestrian / bicycle focused improvement projects. Duties include leading tasks for the development of construction plans and documents; preparing reports, studies, and construction contract documents; and evaluating design alternatives.
