At the SIMULIA Customer Success organization within Dassault Systemes, we're dedicated to empowering our customers' success through unparalleled support and knowledge. In this paid internship opportunity, based at the Dassault Systemes Office in Johnston, RI, you'll channel your passion and skills towards building web applications for the GenAI solutions developed to elevate the support experience.
This role entails close collaboration with the Data Science teams within Customer Success Organizations to craft the front-end and back-end of web applications for the next generation AI solutions, aimed at enriching the customer experience.
As a Web Application Engineer Intern, you'll delve into real-world web application development, leveraging Python frameworks like Django, crafting single-page applications with React, and managing data-intensive workflows with MySQL or similar databases. Working in tandem with multiple cross-functional teams, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects firsthand.
This hands-on experience not only sharpens your technical acumen in web application development but also provides a unique avenue to make tangible contributions to real-world projects, laying a solid foundation for a successful career journey.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in developing Python web applications using frameworks like Django or Flask, showcasing your ability to architect and implement robust back-end solutions.
* Proficiency in building single-page applications using React or similar front-end frameworks, demonstrating your knack for crafting intuitive user interfaces.
* Hands-on experience in developing full-stack applications, illustrating your capability to seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end components.
* Familiarity with AI workflows and/or prior experience in developing web applications for AI solutions is highly desirable, showcasing your adaptability and interest in cutting-edge technologies.
* A self-motivated and proactive developer, driven by a passion for continuous learning and skill enhancement.
* Demonstrated ability to independently implement solutions for features within your area of expertise, including taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
* Commitment to writing high-quality and maintainable code, adhering to coding best practices and utilizing design patterns to ensure scalability and robustness.
* Possess a holistic mindset, capable of envisioning the broader technical landscape when developing new modules, and prioritizing long-term architectural considerations.
This is a paid internship spanning 3 months with flexible start date in 2023. This position is based at the Dassault Systemes Office at 1301 Atwood Ave in Johnston, RI.

The total expected compensation range for this role will be between $22 and $40. In determining the pay range, we take into consideration experience, pay of employees in similar positions, and other job-related factors.
