Balazs Nanoanalysis is a contract analytical laboratory owned by Air Liquide Electronics is world-wide leader in supplying gases, specialty chemicals and services to a wide variety of industries. Balazs Nanoanalysis operates analytical labs around the world serving both internal and external clients. We support clients in a wide array of industries including semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace/defense industry, solar, energy storage, automotive and many others. Our highly-skilled chemists assist other scientists and engineers from companies in these fields to support a wide array of activities such as quality assurance, contamination studies, R&D and failure analysis.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION

Our Lab Analysts are responsible for running samples on a daily basis using ICP-MS, classical wetlab analyses, GC-MS, and particle counters. The work is performed in an exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic environment on a safety-oriented team passionate about providing quality data to our customers in a timely manner. In addition to sample analysis duties, this individual will be responsible for performing tasks such as: sample login and tracking, material and kit handling, proper disposal of hazardous waste, reviewing data, and reporting results to the customer.

  • Labware washing

  • Transporting samples between labs

  • Entering test results into data management systems timely and accurately

  • Filling bottle kits

  • Following SOP's

  • Lab cleaning and organization

  • Sample preparation

  • Sample login and management using LIMS

  • Analysis of semiconductor grade chemicals for trace impurities or assay

  • Routine Waste disposal

  • Preparation of high quality standards for instrument calibration

  • Standardization of titrants

  • Calibration of analytical instruments

  • Safe handling of chemicals

  • Put together results, review data quality, and report results to customers

  • Submit quality and safety near misses

  • Stay up to date on all lab trainings

  • Bring forward suggestions on safety and quality improvements

  • Attend all Safety Meetings

  • Interpret and understand analytical data

  • HS Diploma and 5 years of Lab Experience

  • Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 3 years of Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 0 years of Experience

  • Able to adapt to teamwork environment

  • Good computer skills

  • Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture

  • Holiday and weekend coverage

  • Flexible to work OT as needed during staffing shortages

  • Flexible to work night shifts

The hourly rate range for this position in Texas is $22.00 to $23.00
